Dear Thirsty Girls,
I’m so happy that you are back with hopeful topics this 2021. I have to say this topic on finance in romance really struck a chord with me. Here’s the thing, I work in finance. I’ve climbed up the ladder and got three promotions in 5 years. I’m very frugal and conservative with money. I don’t even spend much. I am your typical diligent person that has read secrets of the millionaire mind about 5 times by T. Harv Eker. . I am a good saver, and an ok maker. Here’s the issue, with the 5 times I’ve read the book, I’ve also been heartbroken 5 times. The thing is everytime I’m heartbroken my finances are also wiped out.
First time – the guy borrowed money from me to pay his rent.
Second time – the guy borrowed money from me to pay his credit card
Third time – the guy borrowed money from me to pay his medical bills.
I won’t continue with the fourth or fifth time because you get the picture.
How do I stop this pattern? It’s like I save to get heartbroken. I either have to stop lending money or charge an interest and chase these men down.
Ladies, please, my piggy bank needs your help.
Much love,
Palaging nabubudol
